Children Services

The Children Services Division is responsible for responding to reports of child abuse/neglect/dependency. 

Social Service staff investigate reports, assess safety and risk of abuse/neglect/dependency to children, and provides supportive services to children and families. This Division provides foster-care services, a children’s home, and adoption services to children in need of alternative placement outside of the home. Youth Leader staff transport and visit children in local day care facilities who are on the agency’s caseload. 

In accordance with the Ohio Administrative Code, this Division works to maintain families while assuring child protection.
