FOOD ASSISTANCE
The Food Assistance program, known as the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP), helps participants stretch their food budget. SNAP benefits are issued monthly on an EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) card that works like a credit or debit card.
How to apply or re-apply:
- Call 844-640-6446 Monday-Friday 8am- 3pm.
- Apply Online at Ohio Benefits Self Service Portal
- Print an application here. The paper application can be:
- mailed or dropped off at JCDJFS 125 S. 5th Steubenville OH 43952
- faxed to 740-282-5765 or
- emailed to jeffersondocs@jfs.ohio.gov
